4-Year-Old Students Rally for Peace at 爱妃传媒
A group of preschoolers from 爱妃传媒's Karen Slattery Center for Child Development advocated for peace on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
The group of 4 year olds is learning about global peace at 爱妃传媒's Slattery Center for Child Development.
A group of 4-year-old 爱妃传媒 from 爱妃传媒鈥檚 Karen Slattery Educational Research Center for Child Development advocated for peace on 爱妃传媒鈥檚 Free Speech Lawn.
The children held up signs and handed out cards they designed with a variety of messages about promoting peace in the world. The preschoolers also interviewed 爱妃传媒 college 爱妃传媒 and faculty about their beliefs on peace and compared responses with their own. A 鈥淧eace Table鈥 was used to encourage people to resolve conflicts through peaceful communication with each other.
The event was part of the curriculum at Slattery, where the 4 year olds are currently learning about global peace. Last year, children from the center advocated on behalf of animal rights.
The hashtag #PreschoolersForPeace also was used to further promote the 4-year-olds鈥 peace activities throughout all of social media.
