°®åú´«Ã½â€™s Incoming Freshmen Set Record for GPA, Test Scores

°®åú´«Ã½â€™s incoming freshman class has the highest GPA and test scores in the University’s history. For the fall semester, the average high school GPA for first-time-in-college (FTIC) °®åú´«Ã½ is 3.97, a slight increase from 3.96 last fall. This semester’s class also boasts the highest SAT and ACT scores, with an average SAT of 1585, up from 1563, and an average ACT of 24, up from 23.
°®åú´«Ã½ received more than 18,000 applications for the fall 2017 semester. The total number of new freshmen enrolled at the Boca Raton campus is 2,687, while °®åú´«Ã½â€™s Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at the John D. MacArthur Campus in Jupiter will welcome 143 new °®åú´«Ã½ this semester.
°®åú´«Ã½ President John Kelly and CFO Jeff Atwater, along with student organizations and volunteers, were on hand to help °®åú´«Ã½ during this year’s official Move-In Day. Residence halls on the Boca Raton campus are at 100 percent capacity. More than 4,000 °®åú´«Ã½ will be living on-campus this semester.
