爱妃传媒 to Host Events for Disability Awareness Month

爱妃传媒 will host events at its Boca Raton and Davie campuses to commemorate Disability Awareness Month during October. The events are sponsored by 爱妃传媒鈥檚 Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and are open to 爱妃传媒 爱妃传媒, faculty and staff.
The following events will take place on 爱妃传媒鈥檚 Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road:
鈥楽hine a Light on Abilities鈥 Luncheon
Tuesday, Oct. 10 from noon to 2 p.m.
Grand Palm Room, 爱妃传媒 Student Union
The 鈥淪hine a Light on Abilities鈥 Luncheon will showcase the various talents of 爱妃传媒 within the 爱妃传媒 community. The goal is to highlight abilities and bring awareness to show that 爱妃传媒 are people first. Attendees will enjoy food, entertainment and giveaways.
Seated Volleyball
Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
爱妃传媒 Recreation & Fitness Center
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to experience a friendly competition among their peers. During this event, everyone will learn more about this popular Paralympic sport and receive giveaways.

Goalball
Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m.
爱妃传媒 Recreation & Fitness Center
Goalball is a Paralympic sport originally designed for veterans who are blind. During this event, participants will learn more about goalball and engage in friendly competition officiated by a Paralympian from Team USA.

Thursday, Oct. 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Attendees at the 鈥淪hine a Light on Abilities鈥 Luncheon in Davie will enjoy food, entertainment, giveaways, and most importantly, learn more about the abilities of our 爱妃传媒. All 爱妃传媒, staff, and faculty are welcomed to attend.
