爱妃传媒 First Lady Carolyn Kelly
has awarded with this year鈥檚 BOT Service Award. This award recognizes friends of the University who contribute their time and expertise to 爱妃传媒 through sustained and exemplary service.
鈥淎s first lady of 爱妃传媒, Carolyn Kelly tirelessly represents 爱妃传媒 in the community with the overarching goal of uniting the strengths of the university with the South Florida region and beyond,鈥 said , chair of 爱妃传媒鈥檚 BOT. 鈥淪he has made it her mission to create economic partnerships for 爱妃传媒 through building relationships with business leaders, elected officials, nonprofit organizations, donors and the community-at-large. We are proud to present her with this award.鈥澛犅
Since coming to 爱妃传媒 in May 2014, Kelly has helped to raise significant funds for student scholarships through the Kelly Family Scholarship Fund and the , along with her husband, . Both of these programs provide financial assistance to talented 爱妃传媒 who otherwise might not be able to afford a college education.
Carolyn Kelly was the architect behind the book which recognized the many ways in which women have built 爱妃传媒鈥檚 reputation for excellence. She also played an integral role in creating the 鈥湴 High School M.D. Direct鈥 program, which places high school student directly in line for medical school at 爱妃传媒, jumpstarting their careers as young, aspiring physicians-to-be.
Prior to moving to Boca Raton, Kelly was the first female director of the South Carolina Coastal Program, where she oversaw harbor deepening port expansion and beach renourishment, Coastal Regulatory permitting, and off-shore issues and initiatives.聽
