°®åú´«Ã½ to Offer Criminal Justice Summer Camp

°®åú´«Ã½â€™s School of Criminology and Criminal Justice within the College for Design and Social Inquiry will host a first of its kind criminal justice summer camp for high school °®åú´«Ã½.

°®åú´«Ã½â€™s School of Criminology and Criminal Justice within the College for Design and Social Inquiry will host a first of its kind criminal justice summer camp for high school °®åú´«Ã½. The camp will take place from Sunday, July 10 through Thursday, July 14, and Sunday, July 17 through Thursday, July 21, at °®åú´«Ã½â€™s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road.

Students will observe first hand and participate in mock crime scenes and mock criminal trials. In addition, °®åú´«Ã½ will be able to see demonstrations of bomb squads, K-9 units and SWAT teams. The camp also will include visits to police marine units, 911 call centers, the local FBI offices, and °®åú´«Ã½â€™s stadium security center.

This camp is being held in partnership with the °®åú´«Ã½ and Boca Raton police departments, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI Miami office.

Enrollment is limited to 14 °®åú´«Ã½ per session on a first come, first serve basis. The application deadline is Monday, June 27.
